Author Topic: Need to back up OBi, which settings to use?  (Read 3859 times)

I want to back up my current OBi settings, in case I have to
reset to factory default, or my current Obi dies, and I need to program another unit. 
Can I just restore the current saved file to a new Obi?

When in Backup Configuration, which setting to I use?
and what are the differences between the 3 choices?

Yes.

I recommend checking only : Use OBi Version

Ron,  I check off 'use Obi version' then clicked
Backup....but where does the file save at?  It didn't ask me
where I wanted to save the file.

It's your web browser that controls where the file is saved, not the OBi.  The backup file was saved to wherever you have your web browser configured to save files to.
